Stretching:

Stretching is a form of physical exercise in which a specific muscle or tendon (or muscle group) is deliberately flexed or stretched in order to improve the muscle's felt elasticity and achieve comfortable muscle tone. The result is a feeling of increased muscle  control, flexibility, and

range of motion. These classes include standing and mat work, as well as exercises with small and large exercise balls. The exercises in this routine help with balance, mobility, strength and flexibility. Suitable for all ages.

Tai Chi:

Yang Style Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. It is a non-competitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. In the beginners class you will focus on learning the 24 step form. In the more advanced classes you learn to do the movements with input that could be seen as a form of self defense.

Beginners and Advanced classes available.
